Christian County football falls in district play to South Warren

South Warren improved to 7-1 and 2-0 in district play with a 51-20 win over Christian County last night. Colonels coach Ricky Gehres offers some thoughts on the game:

The Colonels were outgained 359 to 184 in a contest in which South Warren kicker Elder Dervisevic ran two kickoffs back for touchdowns. Jordan Miles was 14-28 for 125 yards and two scores with KJ Vaughn catching two passes for 60 yards and a score. AJ Harvey was the Colonels leading rusher with 31 yards on 12 carries. Christian County is 1-7 and 0-2 in the district as they play at Bowling Green next Friday night.
