Victims in their 40’s are the most recent COVID-19 deaths reported in Trigg and Caldwell County, while the number of new cases in the region continues to slow.
Trigg County’s 22nd COVID death was a 42-year old woman and Caldwell County’s 45th fatality was a 43-year old man, according to the Pennyrile District Health Department.
There were 13 new cases in Trigg County since last Thursday—10 adults and three minors—with a 56-year old woman hospitalized.
The state’s COVID incidence rate map shows Trigg and Todd County improved from red to orange, while Christian County has improved, but is still red.
One hundred of Kentucky’s 120 counties remain red, despite drops in the case numbers and positivity rate.
