Ky. adds 2,358 COVID cases, 34 deaths

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear reported 2,358 new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday, along with 34 new deaths.

The positivity rate dropped once again, now down to 8.12 percent—those 34 new deaths put the death toll in the state since the pandemic began at 9,184.  There are currently 1,329 people in the hospital with the virus, 398 in the ICU and 262 on a ventilator.

More counties in western Kentucky are ‘orange’ on the COVID-19 incidence rate map, including Todd and Trigg counties but not including Christian County, which continues to stay ‘red’.
