A Hopkinsville man was arrested Tuesday afternoon on a first-degree rape charge.
The arrest citation for 46-year old Tony Kevin Snyder of Hopkinsville says he engaged in non-consensual sex with the female victim in the early morning hours of September 30 while she was deeply asleep or unconscious and unable to give consent due to drugs.
The victim told police she woke up to find Snyder forcing sex on her and she began screaming.
She later went to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
