Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is expected to miss four to eight weeks with a ruptured tendon in the middle finger of his right hand, according to ESPN.
Wilson, who injured the finger Thursday night in a loss to the Los Angeles Rams, had surgery Friday in Los Angeles and will begin therapy this weekend. The Seahawks said in a statement it’s “highly anticipated he will return to play later this season.”

NBA

Rookie and former Austin Peay standout Terry Taylor did not play in the Indiana Pacers 109-100 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers last night.

Tonight’s Game: Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies welcome the Atlanta Hawks.

The Nashville Predators are back in preseason action this afternoon hosting the Carolina Hurricanes. First puck drops at 3 pm.

The NASCAR Playoffs resume at the Charlotte Roval tomorrow. It’s another opportunity for a driver to punch their ticket to the round of eight. Denny Hamlin is the only driver to advance to the next round so far and will be on the pole. Bubba Wallace is coming off a historic win at Talladega this past Monday.
