Marshall County claimed its second straight KHSAA Girls State team title by carding a girls’ state-record 614 total at Bowling Green Country Club. Madison Central was second at 652 with 2nd Region winner Madisonville finishing fourth with a 674 total.
Hopkinsville’s Cate Blane tied for 54th in the individual portion of the event with a two round total of 171. Bullitt East’s Macie Brown captured individual medalist honors scoring a three under 141, topping runner-up Trinity Beth of Marshall County by five strokes. Beth had 146 while Lyon County’s Cathryn Brown was third with 147.
