Rain and darkness suspended the first round of the KHSAA Girls State Tournament Tuesday at Bowling Green Country Club. Hopkinsville’s Cate Blane fired 84 while UHA’s Conlee Lindsey finished with a 93. A number of individuals have to complete play this morning before the cut for the final round can be made.
1st Region winner Marshall County leads the team competition with an 18 over 378, with Madison Central second at 398-38 over par and 2nd Region winner Madisonville third at 45 over 405. The final round takes place today.
