Positivity rate continues to fall in Kentucky

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear reported that COVID-19 case numbers continue to decline in the state, with 2,582 newly reported Tuesday.

There were also 15 more Kentuckians who have died due to COVID-19, putting the total since the pandemic began at 8, 921. The positivity rate fell again, down to 9.13 percent, down from 9.31 the day before. Christian, Todd and Trigg counties are all once again β€˜red’ on the state coronavirus incidence rate map.

There are currently 1,677 people in the hospital with COVID-19, 494 in the ICU and 323 on a ventilator.
