The Chicago Cubs wrapped up the regular season with a 3-2 rain shortened win over the St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium. The Cubs finished with a 71-and-91 record.
The Cardinals will head to Los Angeles to play the Dodgers in Wednesday’s National League Wild Card Game. Adam Wainwright will take the mound for St. Louis to face LA’s Max Scherzer. The Cards finished the regular season with a 90-and-72 record.
The Atlanta Braves are ending the regular season on a high note. Six Braves pitchers combined to shut out the New York Mets 5-0 Sunday. The Braves will face the Milwaukee Brewers in the NLDS.
