Unsettled weather brings rain chances for most of the week

There will be a chance of rain and thunderstorms for the majority of the week before clearing in time for the weekend.

Lead Forecaster Chris Noles with the National Weather Service says a slow-moving weather system will move through the area mostly Tuesday through Thursday before mostly moving on by Friday.

He says there’s no severe weather in the forecast at this time but it’s likely that western Kentucky will see the most precipitation.

Noles says in a continuing trend, temperatures and rainfall will be in the average range. Once this system moves out of the area, the next incoming weather system will start entering the region on Sunday, bringing back rainfall chances.
