Todd County Sheriff’s Deputy Jonathan Knight graduated this week from the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Basic Training Academy.
Deputy Knight was selected as Class Leader of class 519 and received recognition as a veteran, as a Recruit of Distinction and received the Physical Fitness Excellence Award.
The graduates received 800 hours of recruit-level instruction over 20 weeks. Major training areas included patrol procedures, defensive tactics, criminal law, firearms, criminal investigations, cultural awareness, bias related crimes and more.
