The number of active cases of COVID-19 in Trigg County has dropped by over half in the last week.
The Pennyrile District Health Department reports 62 active cases in Trigg County—57 at home and five in the hospital—down from 125 one week ago.
Thirteen of those cases are newly reported, all adults between the ages of 19 and 89 and all healing at home.
The health department also reported a 65-year old man as the 44th COVID death in Caldwell County since the pandemic began.
