Madisonville won the Boys 2nd Region tournament held in Henderson Tuesday. The Maroons had a 339 team total and were led by Jackson Hill with 77. Daviess County was second with 343.
Christian County’s Landon Hunt qualified for state as an individual after firing an 80, good for third place. The Colonels had a 436 team score. Hopkinsville finished 10th with a 385 total, with Joey Falco leading the Tigers with an 85.
University Heights had a 392 team total, finishing 12th with senior Evan Pyle leading the way for the Blazers with 86. The boys state tournament will be played October 8-9 at Bowling Green Country Club.
