Hopkinsville High School announced its first Athletic Hall of Fame Class Tuesday. The class members are Coach Fleming Thornton, Pete Moore, Curtis Pulley, Coach Jerry Claiborne, Bird Averitt, Herb Covington, Coach Jim Ploesser, Miguel Merritt, Tommy Gray, Artose Pinner, Coach Rick Cohn, Coach Daryl Hallmark, Lawrence Brame, John Fuqua and Livingston Merritt. Hopkinsville athletic director Blake Leach said in a news release a website will be constructed in the near future.
