A large tobacco barn was destroyed by fire Tuesday afternoon in Pembroke.
Pembroke firefighters responded to the blaze on Salubra Springs Road and with the help of the Fairview and Honey Grove fire departments, were able to prevent the blaze from spreading to two other nearby barns.
No one was injured in the fire.
