Reds crush Pirates in makeup game Monday/ Tonight’s schedule

The Cincinnati Reds slim playoff hopes remain alive after a 13-1 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates Monday afternoon at Great American Ballpark. Jonathan India had four of the Reds 17 hits, including a seventh-inning home run. Nick Castellanos finished with a home run and five RBI. Following an off day Monday, the St. Louis Cardinals open a series with the Milwaukee Brewers tonight at Busch Stadium. The Redbirds are seeking their 17th straight win. The Chicago Cubs open a series at the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Atlanta Braves welcome the Philadelphia Phillies. The Braves lead the Phillies by two and a half games in the NL East.
