Belmont University has announced plans to leave the Ohio Valley Conference. The Bruins athletic programs will join the Missouri Valley Conference effective next year. Belmont is the fourth school in the last year to leave the OVC, joining Eastern Kentucky and Jacksonville State-who are new members this year to the Atlantic Sun and Austin Peay, who will join the ASUN next year.
