Christian Fiscal Court made quick work of a routine agenda Tuesday morning.
Vickie Shelton with the Christian County Animal Shelter gave their monthly report, noting 311 cats and dogs found homes in August.
Magistrate Philip Peterson is also the Deputy Fire Chief at the Pembroke Volunteer Fire Department and says they’ll have their annual Family Fire Safety Day from 2 until 5 p.m. Saturday.
In other action, magistrates approved declaring a 2008 Dodge Durango used by the coroner’s office as surplus property and the county will advertise for sealed bids.
