Ky. gains 3,941 COVID cases, positivity rate at 10.99 percent

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear reported 3,941 new cases of COVID-19 Friday, along with a positivity rate that continues to decrease.

He also reported 26 new deaths, which includes a victim as young as 15-years-old, with the governor once again urging people to get vaccinated if they can to keep yourself from becoming badly sick should you catch the virus.  The positivity rate dropped to 10.99 percent, a trend that has been going down for the past several days.

There are currently 2,211 individuals in the hospital with COVID-19, 632 in the ICU and 429 on a ventilator.
