Lyon County Judge-Executive Wade White has announced that he will not be seeking re-election in 2022.
In an announcement on social media, White says while he will not run for re-election, he will use the last year or so in office to continue helping the people of Lyon County by focusing efforts on to expand internet service in the county.
He thanked the citizens for honoring him with their votes of support and he’s been grateful and glad to serve.
Judge-Executive White was first elected to that position in 2010 and during that time helped navigate the county through severe weather incidents, the invasive Asian carp issues that plagued Land Between the Lakes, and most recently the COVID-19 pandemic.
