Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin says quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is dealing with a left pectoral injury but is unsure of how or when it happened. The quarterback was hit 10 times and sacked twice in Pittsburgh’s 26-17 loss at home to the Las Vegas Raiders this past Sunday. The Steelers are already dealing with injuries to key players so far this season, including outside linebacker T.J. Watt, who left the first half against the Raiders with a groin injury.
Denver Broncos linebacker Bradley Chubb is set to miss time as he undergoes left ankle surgery to remove a bone spur. Chubb is slated to have the arthroscopic surgery today and is expected to miss around seven-to-eight weeks. The fourth-year pro had been dealing with the injury during training camp, before aggravating it during Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
