KHSAA Board of Control votes no lacrosse for 2022

During today’s Kentucky High School Athletic Association Board of Control meeting, Commissioner Julian Tackett repeated their support for COVID vaccinations. He noted quarantines are the top reason for game cancellations and eventual forfeitures.

In other action: The KHSAA will not sponsor lacrosse as a sport next spring. According to Commissioner Tackett, there are not enough schools that have boys’ teams. The number has to be 50 at the minimum. The discussion will be brought up again next year.
