The Christian County Health Department reported the county’s 119th COVID-19 death Monday afternoon.
According to a news release, the individual is a 34-year-old Caucasian female who was unvaccinated and had no reported underlying health conditions. Officials urge everyone to consider getting the COVID-19 vaccine to help keep yourself from becoming badly sick from the virus.
COVID-19 vaccines are available at the Christian County Health Department on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:45 AM through 4:15 PM. Walk-ins are welcome. They are also providing free drive-thru testing at CCHD Monday through Thursday from 7:45 AM until 2:30 PM and appointments are not necessary.
