Western Kentucky quarterback Bailey Zappe was named Conference USA’s Co-Offensive Player of the Week today. Zappe on Saturday in a loss to Army completed 28-of-40 passes (70%) for 435 yards and three touchdowns and one interception – while also adding a touchdown rush. The 435 yards were the most allowed by an Army defense to a single quarterback since at least 2000 WKU is on its off week this week.
