Everyone in Christian County Public Schools must continue to wear a mask inside buildings for at least the time being.
District leadership issued a statement Monday saying the facial covering requirement is in an effort to limit how many students are quarantined and that it will be reassessed before students return to school from Fall Break on October 11.
The decision of whether to require masking is now up to each school system after the General Assembly removed the state Board of Education mandate during last week’s special session.
