Resolution seems likely for Guthrie man charged with complicity to Valero murder

A resolution before trial appears likely for the Todd County man charged in connection with the April 10 shooting death of Delmour Moncrief at the Valero gas station on East Ninth Street.

Twenty-seven-year-old David King of Guthrie is charged with complicity to murder in the incident and Commonwealth’s Attorney Rick Boling says he and King’s lawyer are close to a plea deal.

A pre-trial conference was set for October 20—the same date co-defendant 21-year-old Dalton Hall of Springfield, Tennessee is set to appear for a hearing. Hall is charged with murder in the incident.

Hopkinsville police say Moncrief was shot multiple times following some type of altercation at the Valero station formerly known as Scott’s Market and King and Hall then fled the scene.
