Over 400 ideas received for name of new high school

The Christian County School System has received over 400 suggestions for what to name the new consolidated high school and Superintendent Chris Bentzel hopes the ideas continue to come in.

Bentzel says he’s already spoken to students about the naming process and there will continue to be student involvement until the decision will ultimately be up to the school board.

Bentzel didn’t expect there to be so many entries so quickly when the survey link was posted on the school district’s website earlier this month.

The proposed location of the new school is just south of Lovers Lane on Fort Campbell Boulevard.
