The Hopkinsville Tigers picked up their first win of the season on Friday night 34 to 14 over Caldwell Co. and their Head Coach Craig Clayton picked up his 300th win in his career. Coach Clayton is now 300 and 159 overall and will go for win number 301 on Friday night at Bowling Green. Coach Clayton is in his 24th season at Hopkinsville High with a record of 176 and 109. He spent 12 season at Franklin, Tn. and Hillsboro in the Nashville area(108-43) before returning to Hopkinsville High School. He started his Head Coaching career at Todd Co Central in the mid 80’s where he spent 2 seasons and left for Hopkinsville with a record of 16-7.
