August ended with the second-most cases of COVID-19 during any month since the pandemic began in Todd County, as the health department there reported another 12 Wednesday.
Public Health Director Jen Harris says of the 251 cases reported in August, only 12.3 percent of those individuals were fully vaccinated.
Of the two minors and 10 adults reported as new cases Wednesday, only one adult is vaccinated and all of the patients are healing at home with varying symptoms.
Todd County’s worst month for COVID remains December, when 264 cases were reported.
