The Cincinnati Reds didn’t score until the ninth-inning in a 2-1 loss to Miami. Jesus Luzardo and the Marlins bullpen held the Reds to just two hits throughout the game. The Reds remain a game-and-a-half ahead of the San Diego Padres for the final NL Wild Card spot. The Pittsburgh Pirates got a three run walk off home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to defeat St. Louis 4-3 on Sunday. The Cardinals took two of the four games in the series.
Ian Anderson settled back into the Atlanta Braves rotation seamlessly, shutting down the San Francisco Giants into the sixth inning in a 9-0 victory. Atlanta remains four and a half games ahead of Philadelphia in the NL East. The Braves begin a West Coast series at the Los Angeles Dodgers tonight.

The Chicago White Sox won for the fifth time this season against the crosstown Chicago Cubs following a 13-1 win Sunday. The Cubs are off today.
