One person was killed in a fiery, two-vehicle accident early Saturday morning on I-24 in Christian County.
It happened about 12:15 a.m. and Christian County Emergency Management Director Randy Graham says both vehicles had been eastbound between the Pennyrile Parkway and Fort Campbell Boulevard exits when they collided and caught fire.
The Oak Grove Fire Department says one of the drivers was able to escape and the other was trapped, with officials saying that person died. THe name of the victim has not been released.
Kentucky State Police is investigating the crash and the Christian County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
