A hit and run collision Wednesday night at South Virginia and East 17th Street injured one person.
It happened about 10:30 p.m. and the report from Hopkinsville police says a northbound vehicle on South Virginia made a left turn across both lanes onto East 17th and drove into the path of a car driven by 31-year-old Tempest McCombs of Hopkinsville.
They collided, but the northbound driver continued onto 17th and was not located.
McCombs’ passenger, 55-year-old Walter Daniel of Hopkinsville, was transported by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
