Case involving UK football players sent to a grand jury today

The Lexington Herald Leader reports cases against the six University of Kentucky football players arrested last week was waived to a grand jury today. Each of the six pleaded not guilty last week to burglary charges. Devito Tisdale of Bowling Green is one of the six who was charged in connection with a incident at a private party in March. Tisdale also faces wanton endangerment charges.

There’s no date set for a grand jury to hear the case, but the Herald Leader reports it could be at least 60 days. None of the six players are currently working out for Kentucky, who opens the season September 4th against Louisiana Monroe.
