Students returned to school in Todd County Wednesday morning after the beginning of the year was delayed a couple weeks by renovations.
Jennifer Oyler is in her first year as principal at South Todd Elementary School and says the first day was going great.
She hopes to gain as much community involvement at the school as possible, though that’s made more difficult this year with COVID restrictions in place.
Oyler has spent 17 years at South Todd teaching and working in other capacities and says leading the school is a dream come true for her.
She says students adhere to masking and other COVID measures well, as they have become almost second nature over the last couple years.
