Tony Finau is leaving with a tournament win at long last. Finau defeated Cameron Smith in a playoff to take home the win at The Northern Trust in Jersey City. It’s Finau’s first win on the PGA Tour since 2016. Finau shot a 65 in the final round to earn a playoff with Smith, who shot a 67. Both finished 20 under par. Jon Rahm finished third at 18 under with Louisville area native Justin Thomas tying for fourth at 15 under and Nashville’s Brandt Snedeker tied for 47th at six under. The tournament was delayed to Monday following a decision to postpone the tournament finale a day due to Hurricane Henri.
