A Herndon woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident Thursday night on Lafayette Road.
It happened about 8:40 p.m., with a collision report from Hopkinsville police saying 17-year-old Kendeonez Roberson of Hopkinsville was turning right from Jerry Claiborne Way at the Stadium of Champions onto Lafayette and drove directly into the path of a northbound pickup operated by 44-year-old Mary East of Herndon.
East didn’t have time to avoid a collision and struck the driver’s side rear of Roberson’s car.
Police say East was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries and Roberson was not hurt.
