MLB: Cubs win second straight over Reds, Cardinals lose again and Braves win Wednesday

Ian Happ homered in the first inning and the Chicago Cubs tacked on four more runs in the second on their way to a 7-1 rout of the Cincinnati Reds Wednesday. The Milwaukee Brewers distilled three runs in the 10th inning as they closed the tab on the St. Louis Cardinals 6-4 in Busch Stadium last night. The series concludes tonight.

Freddie Freeman homered and hit for the cycle as the Atlanta Braves beat the Miami Marlins 11-9. Adam Duvall had three RBI as Atlanta won its sixth-straight game. The Braves begin an Interleague series with the Baltimore Orioles tomorrow night.
