Kentucky’s unemployment rate was unchanged from June to July, but down from a year ago.
The seasonally adjusted July unemployment rate was 4.4 percent, according to the Kentucky Center for Statistics.
That was unchanged from June and down 1.2 percentage points from the 5.6 percent recorded for the state one year ago.
The U.S. seasonally adjusted jobless rate for July was 5.4 percent, down from the 5.9 percent reported in June, according to the U.S. Department of Labor.
