Joey Votto picked up the 2,000th hit of his career as the Cincinnati Reds hammered the Chicago Cubs 14-5 in Cincinnati. Votto finished the night with three hits and drove in a run for the Reds. Tucker Barnhart, Aristides Aquino, and Jonathan India all homered for Cincinnati. Wade Miley pitched seven scoreless innings to get the win for the Reds, who have won four of five. The teams play again tonight with pregame at 5:40 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP.
