Former Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Tim Tebow’s bid to return to the NFL as a tight end is over. Tebow was released today by the Jacksonville Jaguars and took to social media to thank the Jaguars for the opportunity. He signed a one year contract on May 20th. Tebow had not played in the NFL since the 2015 preseason. He had retired from professional baseball earlier this year.
ESPN reports the Seattle Seahawks have agreed to a four-year extension with Jamal Adams that will make him the NFL’s highest-paid safety with a deal that has a maximum value of $72 million.
