A man who allegedly had a stolen gun was arrested Monday night in Guthrie.
Guthrie Police Chief Dean Blumel responded to a call of a reckless driver and made contact with the vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on North Ewing Street.
During a traffic stop, Officer Eric Pinkett noticed a handgun in the belt line of the driver, identified as 53-year-old Kenneth Blankenship of Guthrie, and a computer check showed the 9mm pistol had been reported stolen in Henry County, Tennessee.
Blankenship was arrested and charged with receiving a stolen firearm.
