(Green Bay, WI) — Jordan Love may not be able to play in the Packers’ next preseason games. Love underwent an MRI for a shoulder strain he suffered in Saturday’s preseason win over the Houston Texans, and while the MRI came back clean, the Packers might keep him out for the next preseason game. When asked if Love could miss Saturday’s game against the Jets, Green Bay head coach Matt LaFleur said, “Potentially, yeah.”

(Undated) — The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are releasing former Navy cornerback Cameron Kinley after he debuted for the team in NFL preseason. Kinley was granted a special exception to delay his service to the Navy, allowing him to attend the Buccaneers’ training camp. The cornerback made his preseason debut on Saturday, recording six tackles in Tampa Bay’s 19-14 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Kinley said he plans to continue playing in the NFL, though it wouldn’t be with the defending Super Bowl champions.
