The Clarksville Police Department has identified the victim who was killed during a shooting incident on Caldwell Lane last Friday.
According to a news release from Lt. Charles Gill, officers had responded to calls of shots fired around 11 p.m. Friday and discovered 39-year old Brian Williamson of Jackson, Tennessee with gunshot wounds. He was transported to Tennova Hospital, and later pronounced deceased.
It is believed that Williamson and the shooter were acquainted in some way, but no other information about the investigation was immediately available.
