Ky. Chamber launches “COVID Stops Here” initiative

The Kentucky Chamber of Commerce is urging businesses across the state to help make sure the economy continues to recover by encouraging their employees to practice best COVID health measures.

Jacqueline Pitts Selby with the Chamber says while they’re discouraged to see the spike in COVID-19 cases, they have confidence their members are doing all they can to keep their employees healthy.  She says this “COVID Stops Here” campaign would recognize those members while helping encourage safe practices.

She says the goal is encourage high vaccination rates in businesses, and then award those businesses and individual employees for doing what needs to be done.

Selby says you can sign-up to participate at kychamber.com, where you can learn more about the program and download campaign items.

The hope is this will encourage more people to get the vaccine and for the Chamber and its members to do what they can to stop the spread of the virus in the state, to keep not only the economy going strong but also in the hope of one day once again getting back to normal.
