An arrest warrant for child abuse has been served against a Hopkinsville woman.
Hopkinsville police allege 33-year-old Porche Slappy of Hopkinsville neglected her two daughters under the age of 12 by not having food in her home and not having a functioning toilet.
The warrant says the children, who were removed from her home, were malnourished and one requiring special nutritional needs due to a genetic disorder had a medical emergency.
Slappy is charged with two counts of criminal child abuse against a victim under the age of 12.
