University Heights Academy began the new school year Thursday looking to reclaim some normalcy after last year was anything but normal due to the pandemic.
Head of School Beth Unfried says everyone was happy to be back in the building for in-person learning on the first day of school.
She says UHA remains focused on providing its 429 students with a safe, happy and productive year.
As much as anything, Unfried hopes to have as normal of a school year as possible.
The normal opening assembly had to be set aside due to the pandemic, but the school did find a way to take the annual photo of the kindergarten and senior class together.
