Man arrested for gun, meth trafficking charges

An investigation at a home on Quisenberry Lane Wednesday ended with a man arrested on methamphetamine and gun charges.

A Christian County sheriff’s deputy was conducting a welfare check at the residence and police say 37-year-old Robert Lee Bacon of Hopkinsville pulled up in a vehicle with improper registration.

A K9 alerted on the vehicle and a search allegedly revealed marijuana packaged for sale, meth and a loaded handgun.

Bacon was arrested and charged with trafficking in meth and marijuana and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
