One more public forum will be held Thursday night regarding the possible consolidation of Hopkinsville and Christian County high schools into one mega-school.
Christian County Public School System Superintendent Chris Bentzel says it will be 6 p.m. at South Christian Elementary School and attendees will hear a presentation from the district and then have time to make comments and ask questions.
The ultimate decision on whether to consolidate will be up to the school board and Bentzel says replacing the two high schools in some way will remain a top priority.
The forum will be streamed on the school system’s website for anyone unable to attend.
