The man struck by a train near the dead end of Poplar Street early Sunday morning has died from his injuries.
Hopkinsville police say 38-year old Frankie Burrus of Hopkinsville died Monday afternoon at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Burrus was flown there Sunday after he accidentally wandered onto the tracks and was struck by a southbound CSX train.
Police say alcohol may have been a factor.
