The Christian County Health Department is now offering two days of COVID-19 vaccines each week due to the continued rise in cases.
Amanda Sweeney-Brunt says anyone 18 or older can get the Moderna or Johnson and Johnson vaccine on Tuesdays or Thursdays at the health department on Canton Street and you do not need an appointment.
The health department also continues to offer COVID testing on Mondays and Wednesdays, but you do need an appointment to get tested.
Christian County is red on the state’s incidence rate map and there were 168 new cases in the last week—a far cry from about a month ago when numbers were in the single-digits.
